What is myHealthChoices?

myHealthChoices is the new program to help consumers and employers estimate out of pocket costs for hospitalizations, choose and use health plans, choose health services, and provide consumers health care payment and coverage resources. myHealthChoices performs its mission on behalf of hospital sponsors, and reaches and serves consumers through physician offices, the Internet, insurance agents and direct mail and other custom solutions.

myHealthChoices can work with your organization to provide a local solution offer price transparency for hospital out of pocket expenses, to assist consumers and employers with tools and information on choosing and using the health plans you participate with, and on funding the patient's ever increasing share of their insurance costs. The myHealthChoices program has multiple components that can be customized to fit your hospital’s specific situation and marketplace.

Hospitals generally are not well positioned for the rapid growth in consumer choice, and the mounting pressures for price transparency.   myHealthChoices provides a turn-key program to best position a hospital for this trend.
